Through the Joint Master’s Programmes students have the opportunity to pursue specific academic interests in areas where the Nordic Five Tech universities have a strong capacity, expertise, and long standing tradition within research and education. New Delhi, 6 August 2020: 134 Indian students have been awarded the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) scholarship under the EU Erasmus+ programme, making India the top global recipient this year.

The mission of the Joint Master Programme in Southeast European Studies is to provide an international and interdisciplinary master programme in social sciences and humanities of highest quality, which enables participants to effectively understand the interrelationship between history, law, politics, economics and culture with strong emphasis on the region of Southeastern Europe. Each N5T joint master programme is governed by a consortium headed by a co-ordinating university. The consortium will act as Programme Board. The Programme Board is responsible for: overseeing the implementation of the programme, a strategic plan for the continuous development of the programme and ambitions for the academic partnership, This is a joint master’s programme, offered in collaboration with the University of Ljubljana. It offers a unique opportunity to specialise in Slovenian, including an integrated mobility semester in Slovenia. Through the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees, a consortium of higher education institutions can develop different high quality master's programmes. This programme provides support for administration as well as grants to students and teachers.

The joint master's programme in Turbomachinery Aeromechanical University Training (THRUST) focuses on aeromechanics in turbomachines. Students acquire specialised knowledge in how turbomachines like jet engines, steam turbines and gas turbines operate and how to make them more efficient, reliable and affordable.

European Politics and Society – Václav Havel Joint Master Programme is a multidisciplinary two-year Erasmus Mundus Joint Master degree linking the fields of European politics, contemporary history and culture, economy, international relations and policymaking. The Master's programme Chemistry, a joint degree with Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, provides you with a highly qualified background of theory and practice in chemistry and sufficient specialisation in a specific field.
